G2, Grades Plus Game, is an innovative math and science program designed to integrate academics and physical education through sports and cooperative games. G2 is a non-profit organization that empowers middle, and high school students with the tools and knowledge necessary to be successful in school and athletics. It ensures that our youth have the opportunity to excel in academics and fulfill their athletic potential. G2 is an advocate for positive change, and will embrace and celebrate improvement in the lives of children.

Our Approach

Curriculum

The Grades Plus Game curriculum is built with the student in mind. The G2 curriculum uses movement and cooperative games to reinforce and practice math content.

 

Concepts

The Grades Plus Game curriculum addresses the concepts of fractions, decimals, percents, and ratios. Connections to measurement conversions, graphing, and using formulas such as area, perimeter, and circumference are made by taking students from a concrete to abstract understanding of mathematical concepts.

 

Reinforcement

Each lesson emphasizes correct mathematical vocabulary, and lists the higher order level of questions to be used within each lesson.
